Too Darn Hot
a musical revue by Angus Jacobs, 28 September-2 October 2010

Building on success of 2008s Red Hot & Black we thought it was time to put on another cabaret. Too Darn Hot builds on the Red Hot & Black brand name, but this time takes inspiration from the black and white movies of the late ‘50s / early ‘60s such as ‘La Dolce Vita’ - think Frank Sinatra, Sophia Loren, Italian jazz with a strong saxophone element. Set in an ‘underground’ smokey jazz bar, the show will still focus on Bob Fosse’s styling but will be ‘more class than arse’.

Too Darn Hot is a musical revue comprising songs from some of the most well known films and musicals associated with the period interspersed with some iconic pop. Too Darn Hot will sparkle and sizzle in monochrome magnificence to challenge anything else on the London Fringe.
